Austin NARI Workforce Development Foundation Grant Request Program

Austin NARI Workforce Development Foundation was established to mentor, train, educate and inspire our future workforce in promoting a strong presence in the construction and design trades throughout the construction industry. NARI Program Grants are intended to support LISD CTE educators and students through awarded grant funds or approved material/equipment donations to enhance authentic industry training simulations and skill development in the classroom. 

The grant application will be open October 1, 2024-April 30, 2025  for approved LISD CTE programs listed below. Grants will be evaluated and awarded for a target of $500 value for each approved grant. Each instructor may be award up to two approved grants. NARI reserves the right to determine if grants are awarded in monetary funds or material/equipment donation.

Monetary Awards: Awarded checks will be made payable to Leander ISD with a designation to Campus and Program Name. District finance will work with the campus instructor and  bookkeeper for funds to be deposited into a campus account usable by instructors. All LISD purchasing policies will be followed. Contribution Acknowledgement Form will be complete and provided to submit to campus bookkeeper.

Material/Donation Awards: All material/equipment donations will be approved by LISD for receipt. NARI will deliver approved items directly to the classroom. Contribution Acknowledgement Form will be complete and provided to submit to campus bookkeeper.
