Welcome to the 2017 Austin NARI Contractor of the Year Awards submission page.
Taking the time to create a winning entry can be used repeatedly throughout the year to submit for Chrysalis Awards, Master Design Awards, and countless others that accept the CotY entry format. If you plan to enter the National program anyways, support your local chapter and increase the competition by submitting locally as well. Your local entry is a single click and payment to submit to the national program in November, right after our local Evening of Excellence program on November 10th at the Norris Events Center.
Submit at least 3 entries, one of which is a whole house remodel, for your opportunity to become this years Austin NARI Grand Award winner, determined by the average of 5 judges scores for all entries submitted. The more entries you submit the less a bad score hurts you, encouraging you to enter as many awards as you can.
We encourage you to bring on vendor members as team members to increase the coverage a winning entry can get. Also pay attention to the universal design and green building ad on awards which are a quick spreadsheet entry form.
Also for those that haven’t used the online submittal process in years past, make sure to attend the August remodelers roundtable at the Pirch Showroom at 11801 Domain Dr. Suite 100 at 11:30 on 8/30. Christopher Davison, AIA, fresh off 5 regional CotY Awards and two National CotY Awards will walk you through the process of creating an award winning entry as well as a few things he does to stand out to judges.
