Every year, the Austin chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) awards Remodeler of the Year (RotY, formally CotY) awards for remodeling projects that stand out in the industry. Contractors from 5 counties in central Texas enter projects for the annual RotY awards. Judging is based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty, and entry presentation.
The national NARI office also sponsors a CotY award competition and entries are first judged on a regional basis. Winners from this level advance to the final round where they compete with 7 other regional winners in each category. The contiguous United States, Hawaii and Alaska are divided up into 8 regions. Similar to the local level, judging is based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty, and entry presentation.

Austin NARI will be presenting Chapter Awards at our The Best Night Ever. Any Austin NARI member can nominate another NARI member for any of these awards.
