The Austin NARI Chapter received a Chapter Community Service Award for their remarkable efforts to uplift local communities.

The chapter’s impact included:

•Raised more than $3,000 and collected essential supplies for immigrant mothers and families at Casa Marianella.
•Donated more than 500 backpacks filled with supplies worth more than $5,500 to Hays CISD Schools.
•Provided more than $5,500 in toys for children connected to Child Protective Services.

Mary Busey Harris, CAE Professionalism Award: Kayvon Leath, Executive Director

Since becoming Executive Director in 2012, Kayvon has transformed Austin NARI into a thriving chapter known nationwide. Year after year, she organizes major events, from a chili cookoff and Tour of Remodeled Homes to general membership meetings and impactful community service projects. Most recently, her leadership inspired a fundraiser that raised $18,000 to support a fellow member in need. Kayvon’s leadership continues to leave a lasting impact on Austin NARI and the remodeling industry.
